The other knee prosthesis is total knee prosthesis. Total knee prosthesis is applied in cases where there is more than one damage to the knee.

Symptoms of knee prosthesis infection are mostly; It manifests itself as pain, redness, swelling and warmth. Fatigue, fever, and night sweats may also be among the symptoms of infection in the patient.
There is no age restriction for knee replacement surgery. People who experience pain and suffering in their knees and cannot complete their treatment with alternative methods can undergo knee prosthesis surgery if the specialist physician deems it appropriate.
There are various reasons for knee prosthesis loosening. The parts that make up the prosthesis wear out over time due to the friction that occurs during movement. With wear, parts of the prosthesis may separate from the bone to which it is attached and become loose.
The patient who underwent knee replacement surgery begins walking with crutches after 1 week, and the recovery process of the surgery is completed after 3 weeks.
